i have the worst luck with my computer, im going to go to a computer store to double check to make sure it will all work but with my luck ill buy everything and it will end up not working or something.
Next time, to make sure you got the right parts, for the motherboard and processor, look for the socket type. In this case, the motherboard has a socket LGA 775. When you get a processor, it has to be the same socket type.
For the ram, check that you're getting the right type. In your case, it's DDR2.
For the video card, make sure you have the right slot. On your motherboard, it's PCI-Express x16. So you should get video cards with that type of slot. Also, the newer, more powerful cards need more power and have a power connector built onto it. There needs to be a power connector from the power supply that connects to it. This connector is often referred to as a 6 pin connector.
Make sure you check the power requirements for the video card and motherboard, as there is a minimum wattage required to properly run all your components. They can be found in the manual of the motherboard and usually on the box of the video card.
Enjoy!
