  • What Earl Holliman role was originally intended for Elvis?

  • Dear jefffromgreen, I'll see if I can find out something. Scriptor

  • Dear jefffromgreen, Here is the answer: "Elvis was originally being considered for the juvenile role of Jim Curry [in the 1956 movie "The Rainmaker]". Source: Elvis! Elvis! Elvis! - The King and His Movies, by Peter Guttmacher. Published by Metro Books, 1997. ISBN 1-56799-530-6. As the Internet Movie Database shows, the role was then played by Earl Holliman: http://us.imdb.com/Title?0049653 Hope that answers your question! Best regards, Scriptor

  • Well done!

  • Scriptor - I need your help on a new question - http://answers.google.com/answers/threadview?id=352507 What movie did Elvis go to see the night his first song debuted on the radio? As far as I can tell, he left the radio on for his parents and went to the movies at the Suzore #2 - and his parents had to come find him - but none of the internet sources I can find list what movie he was seeing. - Sorry to post on this thread, but I didn't know how to get in touch with you any other way! Also, if you find it, I'll tip at least 3 bucks!
