March 12th, 2010So Anderton plays again and scores a cracker. I guess we'll be keeping him then, unless someone can get Harry Redknapp a copy of that goal on video.
Bobby Z is a boy on a mission, makes a goal then scores again :) He's outshining Postiga right now, not to say Helder won't do well, but it's good to have options and competition for once.
Special mention to Simon Davies as well, he was terrible at the end of last season, but he's showing some nice stuff in preseason. This could be a big year for him. I also like that the Teddy corner routine is living on. We've got a lot of height in our defenders, so to have that extra threat could help us a lot.
BTW I think we played 4-4-2 today, at least for the 1st half and it looks like also for the 2nd. Galbraith and Etherington as left wingers in each half. So I think the plan is to play wingbacks when Ziege is fit, but switch to a 4-4-2 when he's injured.
I hope Blondel was just being rested.... that kid must play next year.
