Slideshow help: XML -> Flash -> Target HTML Frame + mp3 player?
March 11th, 2010I'm trying to merge a bunch of ideas in one. I've seen the dynamic slideshows, and the dynamic mp3 players... What I need is a combination of both but, instead of displaying the slides in flash I need them to launch/change in a target HTML frame. I understand that a simple getURL script will allow this but, it needs to be in XML because the images will change and I'll continue to add. I also need to be able to tell the XML file that I want the images to launch at specific times. If that means "slide1.jpg" display for 5 seconds, then "slide2.jpg" displays for 17 seconds etc... that would work also. Lastly I want to throw an XML mp3 or flv player in there but that's low priority as i could figure that out in a worst case scenario... It's opening the images in a target html frame that's stopping me.
XML should have:
+image locations
+individual image timings (how long to display each image, will differ depending on image)
+target frame to load image in
+mp3 location
Can someone please help me?
