this keeps poping up every time i go to see if media sharing is on:media sharing is currently disabled,either because t he sharing service is not running or your firewall settings have changed.To restart sharing,you first confirm the settings....ive done every thing i can help. ive turned firewall off tryed the zune software the windows media player...check my home network and they are both on it? do i still need to open the ports with my firewall off am doing my head in help!I had some problems with this too. Sometimes it would work. And sometimes it wouldn't find any media even though nothing has changed and all required devices are turned on.
So I decided to go with Tversity.
Download it and set it up and you'll find it's much easier to stream your media. Plus you can then stream other media sources from the internet. Even youtube videos, and internet TV.
