March 16th, 2010
  • Hey I know that there are tons of little girls who get on here and say oh well i wanna know how much i should weigh but i need help! I dont wanna be like this any more i feel like im in prison, but everytime i diet i fail. Please help

  • Excercise and more excersise. Do you do any now? If so do more. Don't do any of those stupid diet food or low carb things they are bad for you. Just watch what you eat, smaller portions and keep the fat and soda out. Carbs are ok you need them for energy to excercise.Bike ride, rollerblade, speedwalk jog and you will start loosing weight. I know excercising can be boring, but you can try a sport and make it fun. Also swimming is probably the best all body workout you can do. Good luck

  • damn thats pretty big, i'm 6'6 and 240 lbs, u really gotta drop that weight, u could get diabeties

  • Try exercising more. Running/Walking briskly a little bit everyday will help.
Eat healthy foods, like fruit and stuff.

  • uhh so what's your question??? i dont know how to help you but yes you are overweight!!!! (just being really honest)

  • TRY GOING ON A WEIGHTWATCHERS DIET AND THEY CAN HELP YOU OR JENNY CRAIG

  • 150 is good

  • it depends on what kinds of diets you have been on

  • try to exercise slowly, take it day by day. eat normal foods but in less portions... then increase your activity... try watching some exercise tapes...

  • Really, don't feel bad about yourself. To be honest, I think that big girls are really beautiful.

  • i have a buddy that was the same way he ran a few miles every day and ate right he list his weight really fast try that

  • It's easy for people not in your shoes to talk about how easy it is to diet and exercise to lose weight. Me and you both know it's not that simple or we'd all be the perfect weight. This is a diet I have used that has been very helpful to me... and I've tried just about everything. I started using soy protein shakes and protein bars, like South Beach, for breakfast and lunch and then eat a sensible, healthy dinner. This has helped me tremendously because with my hectic schedule, I barely have time to each breakfast and lunch anyways and was picking up too many quick and unhealthy items for those times. It's also important to have a multi-vitamin to take every day and drink plenty of water. Soda, pop, coke, or whatever you call it is huge... it's important to switch to diet if you don't already, decrease your intake, or not drink it at all. Also, look out for the little things that pack on the calories... your favorite drink at Starbucks, salad dressings... some of the little things you don't even think of can really be packing on the pounds. I found out my favorite salad dressing had 18 grams of fat!

The second week is usually the hardest, but if you can get past that, your appetite should become a lot less and you will find yourself eating less even when you are very hungry. Exercise is also important and I think by beginning healthy eating, you will be able to begin increasing your ability to exercise. Don't start everything at once because you may overwhelm yourself. Start eating better then throwing in some exercise, even parking farther away at stores or taking steps to start increasing your physical activity each day. Don't weigh yourself everyday, just every week and don't get discouraged if you don't lose right away or you fluctuate. This kind of weight loss is a lifestyle change and that takes time. Be sure to reward yourself for the small progress you make and also give yourself time to splurge so that you don't totally overdo it. I hope this has been helpful! Good luck!

  • Whoa, that's fat. No offense. Go on a die that fits you, and exercise. Go Jenny Craig(that's what i see on the TV, anyway, maybe it works).

  • all you have to do is stop eating as much.......and drink lots of water

  • Diets don't work. You need a permanent lifestyle change that includes far less daily caloric intake and more exercise. No snacking, no soda, and 3 sensible meals per day -- always without exception. If you're eating 3000 calories a day now, I guarantee you you will lose weight if you cut it down to 2000. If you do this, some of the things you eat now you wouldn't even dream of eating. Good luck.

  • Try going to cdc.gov and using the teen bmi calculator.
    hope this helps!

  • You jerks need to shut up...you don't realize how hard it is for this person. Give her advice...don't tear her down. Try your best....you should really get a trainer...that would be the most efficient strategy...they would keep track of how much you were eating and you would get exercise. Although it may be embarrassing at least you'll know your not in it alone! :D

  • Loosing weight or keeping up an exercise rutine can be very difficult..

You need to make it a lifestyle...

Try getting a gym membership and going 4 times a week at least...Try to push yourself, and think that if you don't go, you're wasting all that money!

Go through your caibnets and literally CLEAR OUT anything that is junk food..
Then go to to supermarket, with some one who can help you pick out healthy altrenatives...

Ex..eat fish, instead of snacking on potato chips...snack on carrots or a 100 calorie pack snack thing...eat vegetables..FRUITS...if you get rid of ALL junk food, you have NO junk food to eat, therefore you will not gain all that extra weight, and combining with a gym membership you are sure to loose weight..

    don't give up..it's possible

the only person stopping you from achieving your goals is yourself! So decide to change your life and take actions!!!
    =)

    hope i helped!!

  • try drinking 6 - 8 glasses of plain green tea everyday
    add CLA to your diet
    drink alot of iced water

if you need anymore help email me telling me how your current diet is
and if you want i can make a plan for you

  • anywhere between 130-160 is a healthy weight..depending on your body frame.
What you need to do is stay under 1500 calories a day, all have to be healthy foods. Drink eight 8oz of water a day, and start out with an exercise routine. Start walking and doing sit ups.

    good luck.

  • If ever you like vegetables and to cook, try to stir fry mix vegetables with meat that you love to eat. You can search on the Internet about the good recipe for low fat and healthy recipes...

Eating habit to the better restaurant is good where you can eat more salads or organic deli salad, fish too if you like fish. Just eat lesser gradually until you will get used of it. Eat a lot for breakfast time and eat lesser for the rest of your meals. After your breakfast if you will feel hungry again and it is not lunch time yet, just drink water and that fills you up. If you do not like sports, just take a long walk at the mall for 3 hours or longer.

Stay away from sweet food, junk food, pop, and if you like to drink coffee, minimize drinking coffee with lots of fat-free or fatty creamer and substitute sugar or whatever sugar free because it has still sugar in it.
