Everyone is against us!!!

March 21st, 2010
  • Just looked at the BBC Football website page, and we are tipped to be one of the strugglers this season and Keegan is the favourite for the sack. :(

  • Considering how poorly we played last seasons, it's no surprise. And Keegan should get the axe, he doesn't know to organize a defence

That's pretty harsh! Fact is the others teams have more money then the Blues and can easily buy more talent. Put Keegan in one of those positions and you'll see its not his coaching abilities. He' was already a proven leader before he even joined MC.

  • It's all about communication! The games they blew were because they failed to play as cohesive team. You have to admit there have been many changes in the last couple of years. Even the fact that home field was the most obvious change last year. I could be wrong but I think City will be a big surprise to everyone this year.

Well I certainly hope so, being a Manchester Blue. Lucky I don't live in my home town, otherwise barring the 2 derby games, we had little to show for the season. Keegan has 2 years left on his contract and says after that he will retire, with many thinking Stuart Pearce will step in as manager.

The general belief that with 2 years left, Keegan will be staying put and seeing his contract out. We don't need another Joe Royle debacle.

Keegan's done quite well we have got some good players such as, anelka, wright-phillips, macken, tarnat.....But what i dont understand is why did he buy Fowler? he's a heap of ******** and why did he get rid of berchovic (i think u spell it like tht  )

  • I would agree that it's not about talent. Rarely did City look outclassed last season. There were a lot of close games where they blew leads or gave up late goals.

I'm not in the "fire Keegan now" camp, but mental lapses & lost focus like we saw last year have to reflect on the coach at some point.

  • it seemed as though City should have done better with the talent they had.

Yeah, he led Newcastle 2nd place, and he led England right up to the abyss.
Unfair, I know, but I've had my doubts about Keegan since the middle of last season. Sure, other teams have more money and always will, but it seemed as though City should have done better with the talent they had.
