Do you love or hate hackney cab drivers.are they a god send.or money grabbers?
its not a job i could do but do they have to be so narky.
haven't heard that phrase for a long while, in my opinion many are money grabbers, took one cab the other day, out of necessity and the guy was a miserable and smelly old goat, didn't help, didn't say anything at all in fact. I gave him a tip but wished i hadn't
They charge extortionate fees and they always pull in front of you b******rds!
Have to say my husband is a private hire driver and all the people he works with hate the hackney cab drivers, they are so bloody miserable and someone think they own the road. I friend of ours was unlucky enough to break down on a hackney strip, it was about 100 yards long and only 2 cabs there, anyway he was there under his car trying to fix it when one of the cab drivers came storming up, shouting he couldn't stop there. Needless to say after a few choice words he cleared off!
cant stand them they cut me off when i'm driving around them and they overcharge.
My best ride was in Sydney, Australia. Narky is rather too common
but sometimes one can meet an agreeable sort.
