plan on putting sum 22s on my cutlass and was wondering if the tires would rub on the fender trim.Call Town Fair Tire and ask if they have 22's that'll fit an 86 cutlass?Good Luck.20`s will fit your car stock - to go to 22`s you will need springs & performance shocks like munro`s or equivalent

cheers, 04 cobraBefore you do anything check your local construction and use regs,if you contravene these your insurance will be invalid and you commit a traffic offence and could have the motor confiscated and crushed.In a lot of countries they are getting very tight on using OE equipement and fittings.In Spain the custom parts you see are taken off for each MOT for the vehicle to pass as they are breaking the OE laws.You can only fit extra items that are entered on the vehicle registration book.It is well known that changing wheel and tyre sizes alters the road holding and handling characteristics,and as the tyre ,wheel and fitment weights are all computor calculated nowadays,changing anything can have a drastic effect,unless you really know what you are doing as with professional special builders.I think you'll look dumb if you do. The whole "donk" phase is way over rated. Go for something more original. Send me a pic so I can laugh when you doI think that unless you upgrade your suspension they will rub. Cars are made to have the stock wheels on it and not to rub with them. And the suspension is made to match that.
