Do people who are double jointed have more of a chance of getting arthritis?
March 11th, 2010How old do people usually get arthritis? Usually in their 50's right? could that be my problem or could it be something else like carpal tunnel?
Thanks in advance.
If you are double jointed or have laxed joints it means you most likely have Hyper Mobility Syndrome (which I have too).
If you have Hyper Mobility Syndrome you're more prone to joint disorders such as arthritis.
If you're having pain you should take to your doctor. There are simple blood tests that can be done to test for inflammation of the joints.
Arthritis can effect anyone at any age. I have had it for the past 8 years.
