My organization, a nonprofit that has developed a technique for doing
high-quality online dialogues, is launching an international dialogue
for men that will examine the connections between ideas about
masculinity and the state of the world. We want to get the word out
as widely as possible so we can attract a diverse group of men from
all over the world.
We think a good way to do this would be to find existing listservs
that together reach 150,000 people, and contact the people who run
those listservs to request that they post a brief invitation.
So we would need a list of listservs, sponsoring organizations,
approximate number of people they reach, and contact names/email
addresses for someone with decision-making capability for each. Broad
categories might include veterans organizations, teachers, unions and
professional organizations, etc, but feel free to use your
imagination. They don't have to be men-only lists, but they do need
to be lists that have a high probability that some members would be
interested in knowing about, and participating in, this project.You might also want to check out:
