How do get a job when i have no car and im about to turn sixteen and I cant drive?

how do I convinve my parents to let me get a job? I am basicaly sisteen with no drivers license and their has been a few drug problems in the community not to mention Im small and a girl. My parents also say Im not responsible enough I kind of have a hard time with time managment, but I think they should just let me give it a try. I mean how are you going to know what its like before you try right. well, just get a job somewhere you can walk too, ride your bike too or catch public transport

and tell your parents that if you get a job, it will help with the time management and with the responsibilty because if you are always late you will get fired and if you muck around the whole shift you will get fired as well- if that makes sense!

and also tell them that unless they want you to be financially dependant on them for the rest of your life, you would benifit greatly from getting a job

You need to sit down with your parents and talk calmly and ask them to give you a chance to prove to them that your adult enough to do this. I started work at 16 with no licence and my parents were very supportive once they could see I was serious and responsible. They would drive me to work until I save enough to get my own car.
Your parents are probably just worried about you. Just keep bringing it up now and then.

Carpool.
Arrange a setup so that someone can bring you in and someone can pick you up. This works real good if you know people that work different or split shifts.
Throw some gas money there way and the inconvenience won't be such a burden.
Another option is public transport if you live in a big enough city.
